A sample of my projects outside of this blog
- My renditions of Robert Lang's complete diagrammed insects (as seen in "What I've Learned From Folding Every Robert Lang Insect") are on display at The Paper Tree in San Francisco's Japantown.
- My piece "The World's Strangest Paper Size" about folding endstrips was published in the 2023 PCOC Diagram Book.
- In 2025, I was invited by Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino to speak at Papercamp 4 on the topic "Origami and Orientalism."
- In 2026, I helped organize the Summer of Folding, an event bringing together multiple university origami clubs over the summer in order to create stronger links between the origami community in a non-competitive space.
- I am a regular contributor to Big Straw Magazine, an Asian-interest literary magazine at Carnegie Mellon University; featuring my non-origami writings such as "The Other 228," "Uncle Roger, Go Fuck Yourself," and "Fablehaven: An Orientalist Fantasy."
