Divine Dragon (Bahamut)

Subject: Divine Dragon (Bahamut)

Designer: Satoshi Kamiya

Paper: 60*60 cm. washi foil

Notes: I had lots of huge washi foil sheets lying around in my paper collection, unused. I made one of them into this and thought I'd be done...until I realized, "Wait-I still have a bunch of huge paper here that's impractical for anything but the most complicated models."

So yeah, I've tricked you all. This post isn't about the Divine Dragon. It's about all four of them.

Subject: The Council of the Dragon Kings

Designer: Satoshi Kamiya

Paper: 60*60 cm. washi foil (green, red, and white), 60*60 cm. Shadowfolds tissue (black)

Notes: In Chinese mythology, the Dragon Kings are four deities that rule over specific bodies of water and cardinal directions. Their descriptions are listed below:

Ao Guang (green), god of the East China Sea

Ao Qin (red), god of the South China Sea

Ao Run (white), god of Qinghai Lake (in the west)

Ao Shun (black), god of Lake Baikal (in the north)

Here's another picture of the council, this time highlighting the white and black dragons.

One final note: these all have the exact same instructions, and any differences between them are in the shaping alone.
