Dugong/Narwhal/Sea Lion (TRIPLE FEATURE)

Subject 1: Dugong

Subject 2: Narwhal

Subject 3: Sea Lion

Designer: Manuel Sirgo Alvarez

Paper: 15*15 cm. lokta (dugong, sea lion), tissue foil (narwhal)

 Notes:

My first triple feature!  These were all fairly simple models, so I'm going to talk less about the process and more about the idea of related designs.  Here are the bases for each of the models:

Each of the three origami pieces at an early stage of the design.  The Dugong (top) is the most simplistic and serves as the basis for the other two.  The two points protruding from the bottom form the flippers and the two on the right form the tail, while the large point on the left becomes the head.  The Narwhal (middle) has a color-change at the point in order to create the horn, while the Sea Lion (bottom) has slightly modified hind legs.

Anyway, thanks for reading, and enjoy!
