I couldn't figure out a very good lighting setup for this one, and the foil looks a bit harsh to me. Sorry if that bothers you in any way.
This was a smaller project for me, and a somewhat experimental one. It should be noted that there are no instructions for this; rather, there is a crease pattern in Robert Lang's book Origami Design Secrets. Also, the edges of the paper line up with the edges of the square, meaning that the design can be tessellated to arbitrary sizes (you could, in theory, have a grid containing one thousand cranes, given a large enough piece of paper).
